Resumé: After first studying physics and then law at the universities of Tübingen and Munich, he worked as an Assistant at the European Commission in Brussels, studied English law in London (King`s College) and then took his doctorate in European law (Dr. jur.) at the University of Tübingen. He was a lecturer on commercial transactions at the Graduate School of the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen for many years. He is currently a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) and of the German-British Jurists’ Association.
