Born in Stuttgart. Studied in Tübingen, Munich and New York. His academic work at the Institute for European Business Law at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich led to a teaching post in banking law and intellectual property law at the University of Hohenheim, where he was later appointed Honorary Professor.
Practising as a solicitor in Stuttgart since 1965. Initially as a founding partner, then as managing partner and senior partner – since 2019 he has been supporting the firm as Of Counsel. PhD from Tübingen. Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University.
He provides advice in German and English.
