Thomas M. Grupp advises and represents clients on complex commercial law matters. He does so both at a national level and with a particular focus on international contexts, particularly those relating to the EU, France and the UK.
His areas of expertise include commercial and distribution law, banking law, auction law, product liability law and public law, often across multiple disciplines. He also provides expert advice and representation to his clients in EU law cases, such as those involving state aid and competition law – drawing on a strong network in Brussels, where HAVER MAILÄNDER maintains its own office. Thomas M. Grupp studied at the Universities of Tübingen (Dr. iur.) and Aix-Marseille III (Maîtrise en droit). He also undertook research and training placements in Oxford, Pretoria and Dijon.
