Klaus-A. Gerstenmaier is a nationally and internationally recognised specialist in arbitration. He is regarded as one of Germany’s leading arbitrators and has for many years been appointed as arbitrator in numerous major national and international disputes. His expertise is based on many years of practice as a lawyer, particularly in advising companies on corporate and transactional matters. MORE

Following his studies at the Universities of Tübingen and Bonn, as well as at the University of California (Berkeley), Klaus-A. Gerstenmaier obtained his doctorate in Göttingen. He regularly lectures and publishes on arbitration law.

His working languages are German and English.
