Dr. Alexander Hübner
“Fast, highly competent and straightforward – that is what clients rightly expect. My team and I give our all every day to meet that expectation.”
Alexander Hübner

Alexander Hübner is a pioneer of German public procurement law. He advises contracting authorities and bidders, with a particular focus on the IT, healthcare, telecommunications, defence, infrastructure and transport sectors, as well as on EU state aid and subsidy law, in addressing complex procurement challenges. His work centres on delivering tailored and efficient solutions aligned with each client’s objectives.

Another focus of his practice is advising on national and pan-European distribution systems, in particular in European competition law relating to distribution and in matters concerning compensation for departing distribution intermediaries. MORE

Alexander Hübner completed his studies and legal training in Kiel, Paris, Heidelberg, Hamburg and Luxembourg. He regularly speaks at conferences in Germany and abroad on public procurement and state aid law. From 2012 to 2018, he was the German member of the European Commission’s Stakeholder Expert Group on Public Procurement (SEGPP).

About me.

“A life without a bicycle is possible, but pointless. And what could be better than a preview of a Beckmann exhibition? Seeing relaxed curators because the transport of artworks—legally supported by me—has once again gone smoothly. Add to that a homemade cappuccino from a portafilter machine. My state of mind? ‘So far, everything has always turned out well.’”
