With her background in both the Ukrainian and European legal systems, Anastasiia Popravko brings an international perspective to her work as a paralegal in the fields of competition law and FDI.
She began her legal training with a Bachelor’s degree from the Odesa Law Academy (Ukraine) and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in International Law and EU Law at Vilnius University (Lithuania). Early in her career, she worked with clients from various sectors in the fields of IP law and competition law, gaining practical insights into regulatory frameworks and economic contexts. MORE
Since 2022, Ms Popravko has focused on merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI), supporting transactions in sectors such as the automotive industry, renewable energy and IT, and helping to coordinate cross-border notifications.
She provides advice in German and English.

"In my spare time, I find balance by playing tennis and exploring hiking trails across Germany. This allows me not only to get to know the country better, but also its culture. I’m also very interested in languages and am currently working on improving my German. For me, languages open up new perspectives, allow me to switch flexibly between cultures and ways of thinking, and simply bring me great joy. My experience of learning languages also helps me to approach tasks in my legal work from new angles."
