DAJV Annual Conference in Munich

At the annual conference of the Deutsch-Amerikanische Juristen-Vereinigung (DAJV) in the Amerika Haus in Munich, the topic "Arbitration Litigation Mediation" will be a main emphasis. On the opening night, Judge John S. Tigar will discuss the question, whether the United States should be oriented towards Germany in the taking of evidence: "Discovery in Civil Cases: Is the American Model Broken?". The panel on Saturday, September 11, will be directed by Dr. Rolf M. Winkler, LL.M., and held in cooperation with the Center for Negotiation and Mediation (CVM) of the University of Munich. Experts will lecture about the following topics: - RA Hannah Tümpel: "Latest Developments in Cross Border Mediation and Dispute Resolution from the view of the ICC",
- RA Jens Bredow: "DIS Conflict Management with regard to International Disputes",
- RA Dr. Ralf Deutlmoser: "US Mediation of Disputes in the relation between German Manufacturers, Foreign Suppliers and US Customers"
