International Litigation Exchange (ILEX) – Inaugural Conference

The inaugural conference of the new litigation think tank ILEX will deal with the topic “Germany – The New Litigation Wonderland?”. Under this heading recognized experts will discuss the effects of Brexit, the arbitration critique in the context of TTIP/CETA and other recent developments on Germany as litigation venue. The discussion will address the questions on how to increase the competitiveness of German courts in comparison to the courts of other countries and why they are popular in some areas, e.g. patent disputes, but not in others such as cartel damages claims. The program and further information are available in the invitation.

The conference is organized by ILEX (International Litigation Exchange) which is an initiative by German lawyers and inhouse counsel involved in cross-border litigation. Dr. Roland Kläger is a founding member of ILEX.
